Thomas takes Gold in Scottish Schools Snowsports Events

During the winter term Thomas Dunn of P6 was crowned the Junior Champion of Scottish Schools Freestyle Snowboarding and Scottish Schools Snowcross Snowboarding following two impressive displays at Glasgow’s Snowfactor Arena. 

Pupils from all over Scotland took part in the Scottish Schools Snowsports Association’s Junior Freestyle and Junior Snowcross events in Glasgow’s Snowfactor Arena during November and December.

Thomas was delighted to take home the first place medal from both events after achieving the highest points total in his category for freestyle runs and the fastest finish times in both his snowcross racing runs.

Thomas was also part of the St Aloysius’ College team which included Christian Hunter P6, Mark McDermott P6 and Richard Lenehan of P5 who said they were ‘surprised and delighted’ to come 4th place in the team competition of the freestyle event.
